Reverend Hayward L. Dock, Jr.

Reverend Hayward L. Dock, Jr. is a native of Augusta, Ga. He is the only son from the union between the Rev. Dr. Hayward Dock, Sr., and Joyce Ann Dock. He has three sisters who reside in Augusta Georgia. Rev. Dock attended Richmond County Public Schools and graduated from Butler High School where he excelled in music and athletics. He recently relocated to Hephzibah, GA from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Rev. Dock matriculated through Shaw University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy. He has also traveled with the Shaw University Choir to Europe to perform in two of their international cities: Prague and Budapest. He also earned his Master of Divinity from The John W. Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University with a concentration in Chaplaincy.

Rev. Dock under the tutelage of various men of God in his family, including his uncle, the Late Rev. Dr. Albert Wilson Dock, and his father, the Late Rev. Dr. Hayward Dock, Sr., began walking in his calling in the gospel ministry in 2006. In 2007, he became the Youth Pastor at Pleasant Union Christian Church of North Raleigh under the spiritual guidance of Reverend Michael Allen. Rev. Dock served faithfully at Pleasant Union for three years, preaching, teaching, and assisting Pastor Allen in all other ministerial duties.

In 2009, Rev. Dock was elected as Senior Pastor of Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church in Creedmoor, NC, where he has served for five years. In 2015, Rev Doctor was elected as Senior Pastor of Rock Spring Baptist Church in Creedmoor, NC, where he served for eight years. In 2023, Rev. Dock was elected as Senior Pastor of the First Providence Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Rev. Dock has two amazing kids whom he loves more than anything in the world, Master Hayden Dock, and Little Miss Adore Dock.

Rev Dock is a God first man, and he loves to praise and preach God’s Holy Word. He does this with a sincere passion for people and a desire equip them to be leaders in the Kingdom of God. Pastor Dock believes no matter what it looks like, feels like, or seems like… “ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD”, Romans 8:28.
